Chris & Jessica: Wedding Glimpse
June 1, 2010I’m so excited to post the wedding from this Saturday, so here’s a glimpse of Jessica & Chris’ wedding at the Castle in Mingus! Yay!
Welcome to my photography website and blog all in one! I hope you enjoy getting to know more about what I do and who I am. Feel free to look around! Have a wonderful day!
I’m so excited to post the wedding from this Saturday, so here’s a glimpse of Jessica & Chris’ wedding at the Castle in Mingus! Yay!
April & Joe live in Maryland, but dreamed of having a beach destination wedding. Something simple to celebrate their love with family and close friends. When April contacted us several months ago, we were delighted to create a photography package for a destination wedding. After several emails and a few phone calls, we smoothed out the details and booked our tickets! The first night we got to Mexico, we were SO excited to meet April and Joe for the very first time. They could not have been any sweeter or more in love! They were truly a blessing to be around and we were so excited to document their love!
The next day our heads popped off our pillows. We were REALLY in Cancun to shoot a wedding. SO FUN! The wedding started at 11:00am and the salty air was already really warm. Poor Micah was shooting details on the beach for about 30 minutes before the wedding started and by the time it was over, she was dripping with sweat! Although our bodies had a hard time adjusting to the humidity, nothing could have gone better.
April & Joe, thank you so much for letting us spend your wedding weekend with you capturing your love through images! We hope that you love love love what we got! You two are one awesome couple and we wish you the best of luck in the future!
By the way…. We’ve decided that we REALLY like destination weddings, so if you’re thinking about it, think about us. ![]()
Stay tuned for the amazing Day After Session that includes shots on a lifeguard stand, a pier, and of course… in the ocean. ![]()
I love the Green Kids! They have made several appearances on my blog - such as Here and Here - and I’m always happy to hear that Morgan wants more pictures of her family! She and I are kindred spirits when it comes to pictures of family!
This session is also special because Morgan’s husband, Tanner, is in the Army and is going to be stationed in Kentucky in June. It’s sad to see them go, but I know they will be back to see their family and hopefully I can snag some photographs of them whenever they make a return!
We had a short session one morning last week and I enjoyed every minute of running after the kids grabbing whatever shots I could get! Morgan, I love you, girl and I pray for so many blessings in your life, in your marriage, and in your family! And don’t forget to call when you come back to Texas for a visit!
Enjoy your pictures!

Morgan Green: Thank you so much! :) They are lovely!
Morgan Green: Thank you so much! They are adorable! :)
Amanda Hoon: OMG they are so cute!!! I better get one...I love the first one of them :)
misti: Adoralicious!! (yes, that's a hybrid of adorable & delicious)
What’s better than flowers on Mother’s Day? A gift certificate for a photo session! Her daughter, Angela (who is appearing on the blog for the 2nd time) was so thoughtful of her mom this Mother’s Day. She and her brother and sister rounded the troups together (aka, put their ‘noggins and money together) and bought their mom and family session! I LOVED the idea! So, last weekend we did a shoot at their house - the one they’ve lived in growing up. Angela’s mom and dad have been married for 27 years (AWESOME!) and are setting a good example in marriage for all three of their kids.
It was such a joy to photograph the Rodriguez family! Angela, thanks for lining all this up for your mom. I know she’s going to treasure these forever!

Marka graduated from Tarleton State University this past weekend (congrats Marka!) & she asked me to take a few pictures of her in honor of this time in her life! Yay! So, I drove out to a little town called Lipan and photographed her on her family’s land. They run an arena out there and hold ropings/contests and all that if you are interested in Rodeo stuff… you can find their information here.
Marka, it was a joy to meet you and I’m so glad I could come out and document your final days of college! Good luck with teaching! You are going to do so well!
