And here, finally, is part two of Cricket & Derek’s fab wedding at the Ashton Hotel in Ft. Worth. If you saw the first post, you saw how beautiful everyone in this wedding party is. Well, not only are they beautiful people, but they like to have a lot of fun! So, in this half, you will get to see the 4 minute ceremony, the amazing group shots (again, amazing because the group was so willing to try anything!), and the party to celebrate. One more shout out to the amazing bride and groom! It was a pleasure working with you and I hope you cherish these images forevor! Ya’ll are amazing and I wish you nothing but the best!

You know that a girl with the name Cricket has to be fabulous. I seriously fell in love with this couple when I met them. They are so amazing together… just happy and so so in love. When I did Cricket’s bridals (that I have yet to post… aaahh), I saw how amazing Cricket looked in her beautiful dress, and I just KNEW she was going to make Derek cry on their wedding day. I think Cricket’s dress is one of my favorites so far!

Cricket and Derek got married at the Ashton Hotel in downtown Ft. Worth. The location was just amazing, but the wedding party was SO much more amazing! They were a HOOT! I loved how they were up for anything… easy going… and just ready to celebrate the day. It’s honestly an ideal situation when the wedding party is relaxed and up for anything when it comes to pictures. I can get better/more creative pictures if everyone just goes with the flow. I think you will see what I mean when you see the images we captured!

Cricket and Derek, I’m so thankful that you chose me to be your wedding photographer. I truly am blessed to have met you and I’m so glad I got to be with you on your wedding day. You are fabulous couple and I hope you have a wonderful life together!

By the way, TODAY IS THE LAUNCH of the all new DOUBLE KNOT PHOTOGRAPHY! Wooo hooo!! Micah and I have been so excited for today. It’s seriously been like Christmas all day long! I just love to hear from old friends… especially when they want me to take pictures of the important things in their lives. When Katy emailed me and told me she wanted pictures done for her baby that was about to be 1, I had this weird feeling about how “old” I’m getting. No, I’m not getting old, but I’m definitely getting older. I can’t believe how many people I went to school with are now married, have children, and have moved off to different places in the world. It’s so surreal to know that life is just flashing by. But anyway, it was SO great to see Katy (and she’s pregnant again! YIPPEE!) and to take pictures of the beautiful Ashlan.

By the way, if you are interested in getting pictures of your children done, take note of the outfits and props Katy brought. They were IDEAL! Bright colors, hats, jewelry… I love it! Thanks Katy, I hope you love the pictures!

And the infamous Sam Randles Experience. Sam and his band played at my wedding and did such an amazing job. Seriously, they are the PERFECT wedding band! It was so great to see them again!

The toast was SO sweet! And note the chocolate on the little boy standing to the right of Drew. He has chocolate all over his shirt from the chocolate fountain. I  LOVE IT!

To me, this is the epitome of man and wife. The woman gives her opinion, and the man chooses whether or not to take it. In this case… well, you see…. hehe

And the grand finale… instead of bubbles or rice…. they had fake snow. It looked awesome, but I was really nervous it was going to get all in my camera and make it stop working. It seriously was so fine that it looked like we all had really bad dandruff at the end of the night! It made for some awesome pictures, though!
