It’s SO fun to be able to photograph two old friends. I felt like we were all just a few friends who happened to be hanging out in a field with a bunch of props and I had my camera in hand. That makes sense, right?

I had such a great time with BJ & Mikka. If you recall, I photographed their wedding 1 year ago… and now they have entered into their second year of marriage! They have also just moved to Weatherford, which I like because that means they are a lot closer to us! Now if we can just schedule time to hang out!

Mikka is also a photographer and typically a second shooter for Double Knot Photography if we need her! She’s an awesome photographer, an amazing friend, and such a sweet sweet gal. BJ is a State Trooper. Oh yeah. That automatically makes him cool. But, he’s also a super genuine guy, laid back, and full of fun. As you can tell, I enjoy being around them!

I had SUCH a blast with Jalyn during her senior session. After her session was over, I seriously could not WAIT to download her pictures and see what all I captured. She’s such a natural beauty, it’s just the icing on the cake with her kind heart and sweet personality. Oh, and the day I shot her session, she got accepted to Tarleton State University (GO TEXANS!)! Yay Jalyn! I know her family is so proud of her and blessed by her. I was blessed in the short time we got to spend together!

*Fun Fact* - I shot Jalyn’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding a little over a year ago!

Jalyn, thanks so much for letting me capture these last few moments of your life in high school. You are truly becoming such an amazing young woman! I hope you love your images!

I actually met the Rios’ over the summer at Lyndsey & Josh’s amazing wedding (Lyndsey & Kellee are sisters).  When Kellee asked me if I could photograph their family (with consists of Kellee, her hubby, and their two dogs), I was more than thrilled! First of all, I’m a dog fanatic. No really. Remember the time I stopped to pick up an abandoned puppy? Let’s just say, I would be one of those crazies with 57 dogs in my home if it weren’t for my husband and his realistic thinking. Gah.

So, I’ll just live vicariously through my clients and their animals. It was SOO fun getting to spend some time with the Rios’ and their pups. What a joyful evening. The sun set so perfectly and gave me a perfect “golden hour” for shooting! I had a great time… and I got some images that I love! Enjoy!

I just wanted to post a picture from this past week’s 5 Year Anniversary of StoneWater church. I’m so humbled to be a part of what God is doing at this church! The service was held in Glen Rose at the Texas Amphitheater! It was SO amazing to lead our entire church in worship at once (for the past 5 years we gone between 2 and 3 services, so we hardly ever get to see all of our church body in the same place at one time! Wow, just to see all of them worshipping was so amazing! Anyway, enjoy the snippet! (BTW - I didn’t take this picture).

Jennifer and Danny have been friends of mine and Eric’s since we moved to Granbury. I trained for a half marathon with Jennifer and some other women from our church. I remember one night some of the girls even spent the night at Jennifer’s house when Danny was out of town for work. I’ve always felt welcomed and loved by the Caudle family. I even recall how their son, Will, had such a little country accent when he was younger. It would make me giggle how he made me feel like I wasn’t a “hick” (because we all know - and love - that I am, right??). Their family is so special to me, and it was an honor to photograph them!
