I had SUCH a blast with Jalyn during her senior session. After her session was over, I seriously could not WAIT to download her pictures and see what all I captured. She’s such a natural beauty, it’s just the icing on the cake with her kind heart and sweet personality. Oh, and the day I shot her session, she got accepted to Tarleton State University (GO TEXANS!)! Yay Jalyn! I know her family is so proud of her and blessed by her. I was blessed in the short time we got to spend together! :)

*Fun Fact* - I shot Jalyn’s brother and sister-in-law’s wedding a little over a year ago!

Jalyn, thanks so much for letting me capture these last few moments of your life in high school. You are truly becoming such an amazing young woman! I hope you love your images!

misti: FANTASTIC! We were just talking about these yesterday when Rona, JP, Jace & Callen were here! Jalyn, you are beautiful!

I remember the day that Hayden tried out to play the keys for the StoneWater band. After a few seconds of hearing him play and by the look on Eric’s face, I knew he was a keeper. It has been so fun to get to know Hayden in the last couple of years. He’s such a faithful servant of the Lord, so kind, and SO musically talented! He is actually the Drum Major of the Granbury High School Band this year, and most recently, elected for the Granbury Homecoming King. Yep, he’s that kind of guy!

After meeting Hayden’s family several months ago, it was very apparent why he is walking in the “straight and narrow.” Lane & Laura are such precious devoted followers and are raising their two boys in such a godly way. They are so inspiring and such a good example to Eric and me. Their whole family is truly a blessing to us and of course StoneWater church.

Thank you, Meek Family, for letting me capture this vapor of a moment for you! Ya’ll are loved! I hope you enjoy your pictures!

I’ve been experiencing a lot of animal friends on my recent shoots! A miniature pony came to the fence to say hello and smile for a few! :)

And yet another “animal” friend came to say hello. Except I wasn’t as happy to see Mr. Spider as I was the pony. I think Hayden might possibly be laughing at how I squeeled so loudly and jumped up so quickly to get away from my new “friend.” LOL!

Courtney Boles: Awesome as always! Love the ones with the guitar!

I was so excited when I found out where Drew wanted to do his senior session. You see, Drew spends all summer working at the YMCA Camp Carter in Ft. Worth, so it was a given that his personality would come out best if we did his pictures there. It was SUCH a neat place, with tons of beautiful trees, several historical buildings, and such a pretty lake in the middle of it all. I don’t blame him for wanting to spend all of his summer there. Plus, you know he’s an awesome guy to pour into kids all summer! Drew, you are awesome!

I had such a good time walking around a shooting in a new location and just talking to Drew and his mom and dad about Camp Carter. If you have kids, this is a super cool place for them to be able to come during the summer to play, learn, and build friendships! Thank you Drew for letting me capture you in your senior year! I had a blast! I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Lisa: Thank you for the amazing pictures!

In order to honor a very special dog, I interrupt my normal blogging pattern. This family wasn’t the next in line for blogging, but I wanted to do a special blog. I hope that’s okay with everyone. My new friends, Amber & Garrett, emailed me not too long ago asking if I could do a photoshoot with them and their dogs! Well, of course I said yes. I LOVE little doggies. Or big doggies. Or animals in general (just ask my photography partner, Micah… she laughs at how much compassion I have for animals… and how much I desire to take their pictures… HA!). Anyway, when I found out a little more about their dog, Vido, I was even more compelled to squeeze in a photoshoot for them!

Garrett got Vido when he was 8 years old. All together, he has been in the Wiginton family for FIFTEEN YEARS! Since Garrett and Amber got married, Amber also became the adoptive mom to Vido and they were all very happy together. Recently, they found out that Vido had a tumor in his stomach and he did not have very much longer to live. Thankfully, in order to remember Vido and his happy-go-lucky attitude, we got to have a photoshoot of all of them together.

It is with deep regret that I tell you that Vido had to be put to sleep yesterday. Amber and Garrett, I know you will miss him so much, but I pray that these photographs will bring joy to you! It is with pleasure that I present: Vido!!

Brittany: Senior

June 9, 2010

One thing I specifically remember Brittany saying during our session is that she likes to hang out with all types of people. She really isn’t a member of one particular “clique,” but she makes friends with people who are involved with all types of activities, people who have all different kinds of personalities, and of course - “high school status” is not an issue. What a blessing it was to be able to photograph her! She was just a beautiful girl inside and out and I truly enjoyed getting to know her!

Brittany, good luck next year at Glen Rose! You are amazing! Enjoy your pics!
