I actually met the Rios’ over the summer at Lyndsey & Josh’s amazing wedding (Lyndsey & Kellee are sisters).  When Kellee asked me if I could photograph their family (with consists of Kellee, her hubby, and their two dogs), I was more than thrilled! First of all, I’m a dog fanatic. No really. Remember the time I stopped to pick up an abandoned puppy? Let’s just say, I would be one of those crazies with 57 dogs in my home if it weren’t for my husband and his realistic thinking. Gah.

So, I’ll just live vicariously through my clients and their animals. :) It was SOO fun getting to spend some time with the Rios’ and their pups. What a joyful evening. The sun set so perfectly and gave me a perfect “golden hour” for shooting! I had a great time… and I got some images that I love! Enjoy!

5 Year Anniversary Service

Jennifer and Danny have been friends of mine and Eric’s since we moved to Granbury. I trained for a half marathon with Jennifer and some other women from our church. I remember one night some of the girls even spent the night at Jennifer’s house when Danny was out of town for work. I’ve always felt welcomed and loved by the Caudle family. I even recall how their son, Will, had such a little country accent when he was younger. It would make me giggle how he made me feel like I wasn’t a “hick” (because we all know - and love - that I am, right??). Their family is so special to me, and it was an honor to photograph them!

Caudle family, I hope you love your images! Ya’ll are so awesome!

I remember the day that Hayden tried out to play the keys for the StoneWater band. After a few seconds of hearing him play and by the look on Eric’s face, I knew he was a keeper. It has been so fun to get to know Hayden in the last couple of years. He’s such a faithful servant of the Lord, so kind, and SO musically talented! He is actually the Drum Major of the Granbury High School Band this year, and most recently, elected for the Granbury Homecoming King. Yep, he’s that kind of guy!

After meeting Hayden’s family several months ago, it was very apparent why he is walking in the “straight and narrow.” Lane & Laura are such precious devoted followers and are raising their two boys in such a godly way. They are so inspiring and such a good example to Eric and me. Their whole family is truly a blessing to us and of course StoneWater church.

Thank you, Meek Family, for letting me capture this vapor of a moment for you! Ya’ll are loved! I hope you enjoy your pictures!

I’ve been experiencing a lot of animal friends on my recent shoots! A miniature pony came to the fence to say hello and smile for a few! :)

And yet another “animal” friend came to say hello. Except I wasn’t as happy to see Mr. Spider as I was the pony. I think Hayden might possibly be laughing at how I squeeled so loudly and jumped up so quickly to get away from my new “friend.” LOL!
