Baby Hart: Life

May 17, 2010

I have to admit, I was a WEE bit jealous of this baby’s beautiful hair. It was the first thing I noticed when I looked at her sweet face. It’s so full and beatiful - okay starting to sound like a Pantene Pro-V commercial - but you get the point. Not only was this little girl a cutie, but she had such an awesome temperment. Kids like that make me think there is hope yet for Eric and I having children in the semi-near future. ;) (Mom, by that I mean 5 years - don’t get your hopes up.)

Anyway, I really enjoyed running around after this sweet girl and capturing her energy, her beauty, and her LOVE for jewelry! That’s a kindred spirit right there! Thanks Heather for asking me to capture your baby girl! It was such a joy! I hope you love the images!

I wish chubby legs were cute on older people. But they’re not. Just on little people. And aren’t they cute on her? Ahhhhh…..

Angela: Life

May 13, 2010

Angela & I grew up together… in small po-dunk Stephenville. I loved every minute of growing up there, but I have to admit, I don’t miss living there either. LOL! Angela and I were in the same class in school and as we all graduated, we parted and went separate ways. Angela decided to go to Texas A&M for college. She actually graduated last year, but she joined a couple of her sorority sisters/close friends for some “senior” pictures! These girls were all so beautiful and VERY natural in front of the camera! It made my job so easy! I had so much fun with these girls going around College Station getting some fun pictures and making great memories!

Angela, I know you’ve been anticipating these pictures so much! I hope they are everything you imagined (and more)! Congratulations on graduating!

We started of the session in their old Sorority House!

Angela is on the far left, if you were wondering!

They told me that they MIGHT have snuck into the kitchen when they were living there and eaten the yummy food they found late at night…. they MIGHT have… ;) They said they needed to reminisce on those moments that MIGHT have happened.

The grand finale - they jumped into the pond in the middle of campus! After a humid session, it was quite rewarding for them, I think!

Yay for friends!

misti: Awesome captures! I have not seen the ring (which is a sad comment to how often we're back on campus) & looooved seeing Fish Pond!

Weston: Family

May 13, 2010

I had the pleasure of meeting up with the Weston family for a little fun at the park! They told me that they wanted pictures that were very natural and relaxed… luckily, that is SO my specialty! :)

There are so many things that are rewarding about my job, but one of the most important things to me is how I get to make so many new friends through photographing them. While spending time with this family, I knew they were people that would become good friends of mine. I know that the Weston’s are a couple that Eric and I will really enjoy getting to know… I hope the feeling is mutual! ;)

Thank you Shawndi for allowing me to capture your family during this time! Ya’ll are so special and I hope you love your images!

Lara: great job of capturing the Westin's : ) Beautiful pictures for a beautiful family!! Oh my and the one with Khonor blowing bubbles with his dad!!! Priceless!!!

Shelley Horan: These pictures are AWESOME!!! I love this family sooo much.

Okay – so – we’re still in Mexico… but we just couldn’t WAIT to show you all some of the images we captured of April & Joe while we’ve been here. They are such an amazing couple and their love for each other is so sweet… it just makes the images a million times better! So – we decided that we were going to show you just ONE picture to tease you all and get you excited about what’s been going on here in Cancun. Unfortunately, there are SO many amazing pictures, we couldn’t narrow it down to less than FOUR! LOL!

You will get to see a larger Sneak Peek here pretty soon, but while we’ve been wasting the day away by the pool, we’ve decided to show you just a little glimpse of the amazing-ness of April and Joe.

Mucho Amor!

We knew Sarah and Wes were in love by the way she talked about him. When we took Sarah around the Stockyards for her bridal session, she told us all about her beau – how sweet, kind, and handsome he was. Her eyes lit up when she talked about him, and a smile spread across her face in a way that I know only love can create. We had no reservations about the love they had for each other, but we also had no idea how head over heels they are for each other. On their wedding day, they were both constantly in tears leading up to – and throughout – the ceremony. They cried tears of happiness, anticipation, excitement, and true love. It was SO special to be a part of their day!

Sarah and Wes got married at the Rambling Oaks Ranch right outside of Granbury and it was a beautiful location! Special thanks to Katoiya at Bella Domani Events for keeping everyone organized on Sarah’s wedding day! If you have thought about hiring a wedding planner for your wedding, you should definitely consider Katoiya – she was amazing!

Sarah & Wes, thank you so so much for allowing us to be a part of your incredibly special day! You are both so sweet and special and we are very blessed to know you! Hope you love your sneak peek!

Sarah gave her mom a special handkerchief before the wedding and it was such a sweet moment between the two of them!

Sarah also gave her husband-to-be a photo album with a sweet message inside… and Wes couldn’t contain himself. This was SUCH an emotional moment for everyone in the room (especially Wes!)!

Sarah & Wes opted not to see each other before the wedding, but had one quick little moment before the wedding to reaffirm what was about to happen! I love how you can see the tears in Wes’ eyes!

This takes my breath away every time I see it! Look!

And once the ceremony was over – there was nothing but smiles! I LOVE this!

After the ceremony, Sarah and Wes got to spend about 10 minutes just soaking in everything that was whirling around them! When I came in to get them for pictures, they were silly in love! ;)

I don’t think they could have held each other any closer during the dance… so sweet!

Sarah had a photo booth at her reception and it was a HUGE hit!

Sarah’s rings in the sunflowers that were used in her Dad’s memorial. I thought this was so neat to be able to incorporate the rings into!

And this one… well it’s just fun to play with the rings!

What a fun location!

I caught Sarah & Wes in the photobooth having a little fun of their own!

Sarah (Young) Hall: FANTASTIC Photos!!! I'm so excited to see the rest of them. I will definitely recommend you to all my other friends getting married. XOXOXO

Haley Hall-Mother of the flower girls and ring bearer: Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

Bobbi Nicholson: What great shots! These are as special and unique as their subjects. Thanks to Jan for sharing.
